The National Honor Society
NHS is organizing a food drive for the Huichole community of the Sierra Madre Occidental. We´d appreciate if you could bring in canned food, rice, beans, vegetable oil or other supplies that can go without rotting for the next couple of months. Boxes for supplies will be delivered to every conference group and the conference that cooperated the most will get awarded with a pizza party! Please take advantage of this opportunity to help the indigenous communities of our country. The project is planned to last until March 20th!!

The Crucible Press Release
As this wonderful year starts winding to a close, the Play Production classes would like to invite everyone to a wonderful, historical production of Arthur Miller´s masterpiece, The Crucible. As a statement against McCarthyism in the 1950s, Arthur Miller wrote this dramatization of the events that transpired in the 1692 Salem, Massachusetts witch trails. A required reading in Bach 2 English, this story speaks to the heart of right and wrong, and good and evil.
Please join us Thursday, March 18th through Saturday, March 20th at 7:30 pm in the Guillermo Zambrano Auditorium. Tickets are $50 pesos and seats are general admission.. Tickets will be available at MS and HS lunches, as well as in the Huasteca Library started on Tuesday, March 9th. This is a wonderful play but may not be appropriate for young audiences.
The story of witchcraft, adultery, and religious ideals will leave you thinking about how you live your life. Be part of this wonderful experience.
